One of my favorite places to visit; the Oregon Coast

Last weekend I was able to go to the beach with a few friends. Although the weather report called for lots of rain and wind gusts of up to 50mph, we were blessed with beautiful weather. I drove down Friday afternoon (by myself) and it did not rain.

When I arrived I took a moment (before going to the outlet mall) to go out on the beach; I was able to see my shadow.

One friend and I went for a walk on the beach in the morning. We did experience the wind but no rain. We had a difficult walk back as we were walking into the wind.

Later in the afternoon; while everyone else took a nap I went for another walk. I was gone for about 90 minutes, and never got a drop of rain on me. The wind was not blowing. It was so beautiful. I so enjoy going to the beach. I have always thought I could live at the beach. I have been told that I would not like it.

It is moments like this; when I am able to reflect on God's majesty; I wonder how anyone cannot believe that God exists.

I sat on a log for a long time praying, reflecting, and basking in God's Glory.

I was able to relax and realize that I am blessed in so many areas, and that I have so much to be thankful for.
